Cable Avoidance Tool ( RD8100 ) Training

What

Our RD81000 Cable Avoidance tool courses are aimed at those managing and carry out work on or near under underground services and are delivered by manufacturer approved trainers accommodating up to 6 delegates per course.

How

Our course provides around 6 hours of operator training in the safe use of the RD8100 & Tx transmitter and on the dangers of striking buried services. All courses are conducted to a high standard using comprehensive slide presentations along with supporting samples of products and accessories. Classroom sessions are followed by practical instruction performed outdoors.

Why

Damage to underground services can cause fatal or severe injury as well as significant disruption and environmental damage. It can also delay projects and incur considerable costs. In accordance with HSG47, anyone using a locator should be trained in its use and limitations.
